JERA Trading said Sarah Behbehani has joined the company as head of LNG for the prospective joint LNG operation between JERA and EDF Trading.
JERA Trading is a joint venture between JERA and EDF Trading, established in April last year.
In July 2018, JERA and EDF Trading signed binding agreements to form an LNG optimization and trading joint venture where JERA’s and EDFT’s LNG optimization and trading activities will be merged into JERA Trading, to be renamed JERA Global Markets.
This agreement is expected to complete in early 2019, the JV said in a statement.
Behbehani will initially support the integration of JERA’s and EDFT’s LNG activities into JERA Trading. Once operational, she will head its LNG commercial activities.
Previously, Behbehani was Head of LNG Trading – West at Shell based in Dubai.
