Brazil’s oil company Petrobras has reported that its total production of oil and gas, including natural gas liquids (NGL), in September 2018 was 2.47 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), on par with production in August.

Petrobras said that, of the 2.47 million boed produced in September, 2.35 million boed were produced in Brazil while 125 thousand boed were produced abroad.

The production in September was on the same level as the previous month when the company also produced 2.47 million boed.

Total production operated by the company (Petrobras and partners’ share) was 3.18 million boed, with 3.02 million boed in Brazil.

The company added that it achieved the monthly record of utilization of gas produced of 97.1%.

Petrobras said that it maintained its commitment to the production target disclosed in the Business and Management Plan 2018-2022, considering the ramp-up production of the platforms that have already started operation this year.

The company referred to the P-74 in the Búzios field, FPSO Cidade de Campos in the Tartaruga Verde e Mestiça field, and P-69 in the Lula field as well as the beginning of the production of new systems planned for the fourth quarter of 2018.
