United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands will together spend 30 billion euros on offshore decommissioning by 2025 according to Regional Chief Executive Yvo Jansen at Bureau Veritas & Nordic.

Bureau Veritas is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC). In May of this year, the company launched their guide to decommissioning focused on regulations and legislative requirements, procedures and how to handle these projects efficiently and in a sustainable manner.
Jansen also touches upon the importance of collaboration between governments, operators, suppliers, and environmental parties as well as discussing preserving life under water.
