Stavanger-based well engineering and consultancy company Ridge has appointed Ole Jacob Sandal as subsurface manager, effective November 1, 2018.
Sandal has a Master in Petroleum Geophysics and Geology from University of Bergen, and 20 years of experience from the oil and gas business, ranging from exploration, drilling, corporate management and business development.
He has a large network, both national and international, within O&G business, research and finance.
In connection with this appointment Ridge enters into a cooperation agreement with HRH Geology.
Sandal said: “ In recent years, I have focused on establishing HRH Geology in Norway.
“HRH is a world-leading niche company in Geo Operations. Therefore, it makes sense that HRH and Ridge enter into a close partnership where we will front a total service range within Subsurface to the operators.
“Ridge already has a good market share within Subsurface, this will now be doubled overnight with consultants, studies, gas analysis and software.
“Ridge Subsurface now counts 40 experienced geo-professionals already at start-up. ”
