Kangaroo Island Connect (KIC) has announced that the dredging of Cape Jervis Port and boat ramp area is now complete.

According to KIC, the ferry service is back and running thanks to a successful second round of dredging.

Managing director David Harris commented that the KIC ferry service was back last Friday offering a morning and evening service.

“ The KIC is so excited to let you know that we will be running all scheduled services from Friday. Thank you for your patience and support ,” David Harris said.

A sand bank at Cape Jervis entrance interrupted KIC ferry service back in September after the ferry James Cowell returned to service following mechanical upgrades and a replacement propeller.
