GasLog Partners, the New York-listed spinoff of LNG shipper GasLog, said Wednesday it closed the previously announced acquisition of LNG carrier Methane Becki Anne.
GasLog Partners bought from its parent company 100 percent of the shares in the entity that owns and charters the Methane Becki Anne to Hague-based LNG giant Shell.$207.4 million
The vessel is currently on a multi-year time charter with a unit of Shell through March 2024. Shell has a unilateral option to extend the term of the time charter for a period of either three or five years.
The Methane Becki Anne is a 170,000 cubic meter tri-fuel diesel electric carrier built in 2010.
