Trio Executes Sat Dive Projects in Vietnam

Consortium of ThienNam Offshore Services, PT Advanced Offshore and PVMTC has recently completed two subsea construction works of saturation diving.

The first saturation diving project was for Petro Vietnam Exploration and Production for the installation of subsea clamps on Dai Hung 1 Jacket

The second project was installation of 10 numbers of tie-in spools, 3 expansion loops for Catam field of VietSov Petro (VSP) using ThienNam own Pipelay Barge Swiber Concorde and 12-man saturation diving system.

COO of ThienNam, Bimal Bosmia , said: “Execution of these projects are good example of great team work among consortium members, which use 100% Vietnam owned assets. We are thankful of our consortium partners for excellent coordination and cooperation and our clients for their support and faith in us to deliver such challenging works in a short duration.“

Managed by logistics team of AOS and TOS, saturation divers and technicians were mobilized from USA, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India and Jakarta to work in Vietnam.

“This was a first job together which proved coordination and expertise of each other and look forward for many more projects of this kind in the future to work together,” senior management of all three consortium partners jointly stated.
