Gothia Tankers Alliance fourth LNG-fueled vessel delivered

Gothia Tanker Alliance informed that the fourth vessel LNG-fueled vessel ordered by its members, the Fure Valö has been delivered at the Chinese Avic Dingheng shipyard.

Gothia Tanker Alliance informed that the fourth vessel LNG-fueled vessel ordered by its members, the Fure Valö has been delivered at the Chinese Avic Dingheng shipyard.

It is a part of the six-vessel series ordered by the Gothia Tanker Alliance members Furetank, Älvtank and Erik Thun, Gothia Tanker Alliance said in a brief social media statement.

Out of the six vessels on order Furetank has three, Älvtank two and Thun Tankers one.

All the 16,000 DWT tankers are equipped with dual-fuel engines for LNG operation, featuring ice class 1A.

The series of vessels ordered by the Swedish partners are built to a design developed by FKAB together with Furetank.
