Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States remained flat during the week ending November 28.
During the week under review, US LNG export facilities shipped a total of seven cargoes with a combined capacity of 24.4 Bcf, data from the United States Energy Information Administration shows.
Out of the seven cargoes, six were dispatched from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility in Louisiana with one cargo departing Dominion’s Cove Point facility in Maryland.
One LNG tanker was loading at Sabine Pass on Wednesday, November 28.
U.S. LNG exports in November are on track to match or exceed the previous record set in July with 29 loaded cargoes through November 28 (25 from Sabine Pass and 4 from Cove Point), EIA said.
Commissioning activities at the Corpus Christi liquefaction terminal in Texas continued last week as pipeline feedstock deliveries increased from 0.07 Bcf/d in the previous week to 0.4 Bcf-0.5 Bcf per day during the past few days.
An LNG vessel that was expected to load the first Corpus Christi cargo loaded at Sabine Pass terminal instead, EIA said.
EIA noted in its weekly natural gas report that the natural gas feedstock to US LNG terminals averaged 4.5 Bcf/d during the week under review, compared to 4.4 Bcf/d last week.
