“Bringing floating substations to commercial feasibility and utilizing serialization, industrialization and innovation to reduce the cost of floating wind”, said Ole Stobbe, Business Development Manager Northern Europe at Ideol, while speaking about what the company aims to do with a grant it recently received.

The EUR 2.5 million grant from the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 – SME Instrument programme is a remarkable feat and a huge honour, Stobbe pointed out, as the very selective programme only rewards 5 per cent of the candidate projects.
