Liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification volumes at Lithuania’s first and only import terminal in the port of Klaipeda reported mixed results for the month of November.

Terminal operator Klaipedos Nafta noted in its monthly report that the facility regasified and reloaded 0.84 TWh of natural gas, 59.6 percent above the 0.53 TWH regasified and reloaded in the corresponding month last year.

However, over the course of the year so far, the facility has regasified and reloaded 8.65 TWh of natural gas, 29 percent below the 12.19 TWh reported in the first 11 months of 2017.

Revenues from regas and reloading activities from Höegh LNG’s FSRU Independence used as Lithuania’s first import terminal in the port of Klaipeda declined 8.9 percent year on year from 5.5 million euros in November 2017 to 5.3 million euros ($6 million) during the month under review.

Over the 11-month period revenues reached 59.2 million euros, 5.6 percent below 62.7 million from January to November 2017.
