French LNG containment specialist GTT has received an order to design LNG tanks for two 174,000-cbm carriers.
The order has been placed by the South Korean shipyard that is building the vessels for a European owner, GTT said, adding that the names of both the shipyards and the vessels’ owner are confidential.
The company noted that the vessels will feature its Mark III FLex membrane containment system.
The newbuilds are scheduled for delivery during the first half of 2021.
