Western Dredging Association’s partner Texas A&M University will be holding their 48th Dredging Engineering Short Course from January 7th through 11th, 2019.
The dredging course is taught on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas and includes a mixture of lectures, laboratories, and a panel.
The course, which is geared towards a wide spectrum of audiences, is typically attended by dredgers, professional staff, and project managers, as well as senior managers.
Fundamentals of dredging, sediment transport, pumps/hydraulics, beach nourishment, dredged material management, CDF’s, beneficial use, and other placement methods, environmental aspects, numerical modeling, capping, contract documents and project management will be covered, among other topics.
