Boskalis has completed the trials of Trenchformer cable trencher on board the Ndurance cable laying/multi purpose vessel at Alexiahaven, the Netherlands.
Ndurance performed a number of trials of the Trenchformer, intended for use on a wide range of soils and cab types.
Besides working together with a cable laying vessel, the Trenchformer can also operate as a stand-alone spread.
The Ndurance multipurpose vessel, which provided the platform for these trials, can also be outfitted for cable laying and other tasks, including diving support, subsea rock installation, offshore construction support, salvage assignments and even dredging operations.
