Flex LNG, the company controlled by billionaire John Fredriksen and an emerging player in the LNG shipping business, has made changes to its board.

The company said that Georgina Sousa has resigned as a board member of the company.

Following the resignation, Flex LNG’s board consists of four members.

The Oslo-listed shipping company launched its 173,400-cbm LNG carrier named Flex Courageous at South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME).

Once delivered it will be the company’s sixth vessel in operation and the company has five vessels up for delivery in 2020 and two in 2021. All the company’s newbuilds are featuring slow speed, two-stroke engines – MEGI or X-DF propulsion.
