Holland Dredge Design (HDD), a Dutch company involved in engineering, designing, building, supplying and maintenance of all sorts of dredgers and dredging equipment, is currently building components for a new trailing suction hopper dredger.
According to HDD’s latest announcement, their trailing suction hopper dredge gantries are almost ready for transportation to New Zealand.
This delivery, set to take place this week, is the first part of HDD’s 400mm hopper dredge project, equipped with electric driven submersible dredge pump.
The new dredging vessel is currently being built in Malaysia, said HDD.
