Swedish shipping company Donsötank has contracted two LNG-powered oil products and chemical tankers at Chinese Wuhu Shipyard.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2021.
The ice class 1A, 22,000-dwt newbuilds will be designed by FKAB for low resistance hull features.
The LNG-powered tankers will be equipped with Wärtsilä DF engines and will be prepared for 1000 kWh battery-pack.
The duo will be commercially managed by Navix Maritime Chartering.
