Golar gets go-ahead for Tortue FLNG conversion

The Bermuda-based LNG shipping giant Golar LNG said on Monday that it has received a limited notice to proceed from BP for the provision of a floating LNG producing unit for BP’s West African project.

Saipem and Renaissance seal $2.5 bln Arctic LNG 2 contract

Italian oil and gas industry contractor Saipem has secured a €2.2 billion ($2.5 billion) contract for Russian Novatek’s Arctic LNG 2 project.

Cheniere, Petronas ink LNG supply deal

Houston-based LNG exporter Cheniere Energy signed a liquefied natural gas sale and purchase agreement with Petronas LNG, a unit of the Malaysian state-owned oil and gas company, Petronas.
