Brazilian giant Petrobas recorded a decrease in its production during November due to maintenance of several assets located offshore Brazil.

Petrobras informed on Thursday, December 27 that in November its total production of oil and gas, including natural gas liquids (NGL), was 2.62 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), 2.52 million boed produced in Brazil and 100 thousand boed abroad.

The total operated production of the company, including Petrobras and partners’ share, was 3.28 million boed, with 3.15 million boed in Brazil.

In relation to October, there was a slight reduction mainly due to maintenance stoppages of the FPSO Cidade de Ilhabela, located in the Sapinhoá field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt, and of the platforms P-18 and P-37, located in the Marlim field, in the Campos Basin.

It is worth reminding that Petrobas in November started the production of oil and natural gas in the Búzios 2 area , in the pre-salt of Santos Basin, by means of P-75 FPSO, which was the second unit installed in the Búzios field offshore Brazil.
