Petrofac, Serikandi JV wins Brunei services job

Petrofac, as a technical service provider, and its partner Serikandi Oilfield and Services, have secured a multi-year engineering design services contract for Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) and Brunei LNG (BLNG) assets in Brunei.

Petrofac, as a technical service provider, and its partner Serikandi Oilfield and Services, have secured a multi-year engineering design services contract for Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) and Brunei LNG (BLNG) assets in Brunei.

Petrofac and partner Serikandi will provide engineering across all phases of the asset lifecycle for the entire portfolio of onshore and offshore assets for BSP and BLNG.

All engineering and design work will be undertaken in Brunei, with the team located at offices in Kuala Belait, Petrofac said in a statement.

Brunei Shell Petroleum is focused on exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas from onshore and offshore fields.

Brunei LNG, a joint venture between the government of Brunei, Shell and Mitsubishi Corp, operates the 6.7 mtpa facility, the first LNG plant in the Western Pacific.
