Singapore LNG names new CEO

SLNG, the owner and operator of Singapore’s liquefied natural gas terminal, named Tan Soo Koong as its new chief executive officer.

SLNG, the owner and operator of Singapore’s liquefied natural gas terminal, named Tan Soo Koong as its new chief executive officer.

The company’s spokesperson told Reuters Tan will take up his position on April 2.

Tan, with 30 years of experience in the energy and petrochemical sector will join Singapore LNG from Vopak Terminals.

Since January 1, Singapore LNG’s commercial division vice president, Sandeep Mahawar, has also stepped in as an interim CEO. He will continue as interim CEO until Tan takes his post in April.
