Rossbeigh Coastal Protection Work on the Way

Kerry County Council plans to carry out repair works to the existing coastal defenses at Rossbeigh during the following weeks, Radio Kerry reports. Kerry County Council plans to carry out repair works to the existing coastal defenses at Rossbeigh during the following weeks, Radio Kerry reports.

During 2018, the local authority repaired the sea wall at The Kerries, Tralee which was damaged in Storm Eleanor.

Coastal Flood and Erosion Risk Management studies were also carried out from Ballyheigue to Brandon Point and in Castlemaine Harbor.

Radio Kerry said that the council also carried out detailed design for coastal defense works at Kilfenora, Fenit.
