Qatari cargo heading for UK’s South Hook LNG terminal

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal booked a cargo of chilled fuel for the end-of-week delivery.

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal booked a cargo of chilled fuel for the end-of-week delivery.

Data from the Milford Haven Port Authority shows the Q-Max LNG carrier Al Ghariya capable of transporting 210,100-cbm is scheduled to dock at the facility on January 19.

The Q-Flex LNG carrier was sailing in the Alboran Sea, heading for the Strait of Gibraltar, AIS data from VesselsValue shows.

Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Monday morning was around 16.25 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.
