French LNG containment systems specialist GTT has been selected to supply tank designs for two liquefied natural gas carriers.

The order was placed by the South Korean Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for the LNG carrier pair it is building for the Monaco-based LNG-shipper GasLog.

The vessels will be capable of transporting 180,000 cubic meters featuring the Mark III Flex+ containment system, GTT said in a statement.

The vessels’ delivery is expected for the second quarter and third quarter of 2021, respectively.
