Saipem Clinches USD 1.3B Deal from Saudi Aramco

Italian Saipem has received two engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contracts from Saudi Aramco. According to Saipem’s statement, the contracts are worth $1.3 billion. Italian Saipem has received two engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contracts from Saudi Aramco.

According to Saipem’s statement, the contracts are worth $1.3 billion.

The EPIC contracts are for the development of Berri and Marjan offshore fields.

The contracts were awarded under the Long-Term Agreement for offshore activities in Saudi Arabia renewed in 2015 and in force until 2021.

Saipem’s work scope consists of the design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea systems, as well as the laying of pipelines, subsea cables and umbilicals, platform decks and jackets.
