The United Kingdom has booked a United States cargo to the South Hook LNG terminal on the shores of Milford Haven waterway.
The cargo is being shipped from the Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG facility in Louisiana, data from the Milford Hafen Port Authority shows.
The liquefied natural gas carrier BW Pavilion Leeara with the capacity to transport 161,880 cubic meters of natural gas is scheduled to arrive at the South Hook LNG facility on January 29.
Gas supply from the South Hook terminal to UK’s grid was about 23.28 mcm/day on Friday morning, according to the latest data by National Grid.
The terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, can provide around 20 percent of Britain’s natural gas requirements.
