Siemens Gamesa has awarded 1StopWind, a UK-based wind turbine inspection and maintenance specialist, with a contract for offshore Statutory Inspection and Repair works at four offshore wind farms in Germany.
The contract is the third for the UK company for Siemens Gamesa’s offshore projects in Germany.
Namely, 1StopWind executed similar contracts in 2017 and in 2018, with the latter being for two offshore wind farms.
However, the two previous contracts were awarded for a 12-month period, while the one that 1StopWind signed in January 2019 will be carried out over two years.
