Oslo-listed SeaBird Exploration has secured extension of two existing contracts, the company said on Thursday.

Namely, the contract for the Voyager Explorer, which is working on an ocean bottom node survey in the Far East, has been extended by approximately 90 days until March 2019.

The client also has an additional option to extend the charter by another 30 days, SeaBird noted.

The Osprey Explorer is also working on an ocean bottom node survey in the Americas region.

This contract has been extended from initially 60 days to currently approximately 180 days.

Following the completion of this contract expected in early March 2019, the Osprey will immediately start on a previously announced ocean bottom node survey in the same region with expected completion in mid-April 2019.
