Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog said its newbuild carrier GasLog Gladstone left the South Korean Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for its sea trials.

The vessel with the hull number 2131 has the capacity to transport 174,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel featuring XDF propulsion, the shipper said in a brief statement through its social media channels.

Delivery, as well as the official naming of the vessel, is scheduled for March 2019 when it will commence its long-term charter for Shell.

GasLog added that the vessel has a natural boil-off rate of 0.085 percent utilizing an Air Liquide sub-cooler.

The vessel data provided by VesselsValue shows that the LNG tanker is currently worth at around $189.5 million.

GasLog’s fleet consists of 34 LNG carriers with 25 vessels on the water and 9 on order, according to the shipping company’s website.
