King & Spalding law firm said David Lang has joined the firm as a partner with the corporate, finance and investments practice group in the Houston office.

Lang formerly held the position as global head of Baker McKenzie’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) practice.

“David’s expertise fits squarely within our growth strategy and our client needs– he is an excellent corporate lawyer with specific expertise in LNG matters,” said Todd Holleman, head of the firm’s corporate, finance and investments practice group.

Lang’s practice focuses on energy infrastructure development, acquisition and disposition, with particular expertise in LNG projects, the law firm said in its statement.

He has experience working with both domestic and international clients developing, acquiring and selling energy and petrochemical infrastructure assets.
