Ramboll’s Vice Director of the Global Wind Divison has joined the Board of Directors for the U.S. Business Network for Offshore Wind.

According to the Danish company, Dr. Tim Fischer is responsible for the offshore wind service line that operates from several of the company’s global offices.

Ramboll stated that one of Fischer’s current focus areas is to coordinate Ramboll’s growth ambition in the U.S. offshore wind market.

“The Network does great work in promoting the offshore wind industry in the United States. I am therefore very honoured to join the organisation as a member of the Board and contribute to their dedicated efforts in further advancing the industry of offshore wind,” said Fischer .

In addition, the Network said that the expansion of the board reflects its growth into new regions and markets in the U.S. and its role as a leader and advocate for the sector.

“We are delighted to have Tim join our Board of Directors, as one of four new members,” Liz Burdock , President and CEO of the Network, stated.

“As the Network develops an industry work plan and implements strategic initiatives to stay out in front of this rapidly growing and changing industry, such industry leaders will increase the diversity of the skills and backgrounds on our Board. We thank him for making the additional commitment that will be required to guide the Network as we undertake this important work.”
