Magseis Fairfield has signed a letter of award (LOA) for a three months data acquisition program in the North Sea.

According to the Norwegian seabed seismic services player, the survey is scheduled to start in Q3 2019 and will be acquired by the vessel Artemis Athene.

The client and financial details have not been disclosed.

To remind, Magseis acquired the Seismic Technologies business from Fairfield – Fairfield Geotechnologies.

The combined organization is said to comprise approximately 430 full-time employees structured in three business areas: Eastern Hemisphere Operations (Headquarters in Oslo, Norway); Western Hemisphere Operations (Headquarters in Houston, USA); and Technology.
