FPSO integrity management and repair specialists, Marine Technical Limits (MTL) has added four new recruits to its specialist team.
The organisation, which employs 41 members of staff, took on the new employees as part of a significant investment programme in people and equipment, after it secured and executed 28 contracts in 2018.
The Kintore-based business welcomed new Naval Architect Caitlin Whitten and Administration Assistant Heather Drummond. They will be joined by Darren Murray and Ross Wotherspoon who have come on board as Equipment Technicians.
MTL’s newest member, Caitlin Whitten , was interviewed and employed in Canada, before she relocated to the UK. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland and will strengthen MTL’s links to the region.
She said: “ It’s exciting to start 2019 with a new opportunity at an ambitious company. MTL is a forward-thinking organisation which invests in research and development and new ways of working. It also aims to strengthen its presence in new locations and regions, and I feel I can make a positive contribution in helping the company realise its goal s.”
Ross Wotherspoon joins with a wealth of experience having been responsible for the end-to-end completion of large-scale business critical projects including at the Grangemouth Oil Refinery and the Commonwealth Games.
He said: “ I’m delighted to join the company as an Equipment Technician. I can see that MTL offers rewarding careers for those keen to expand their experience and I’m looking forward to getting started on my first project .”
