Vattenfall Seeks Blade Repair Squad

Vattenfall has issued a tender seeking a company to carry out wind turbine blade repair for its wind energy projects across Europe. Vattenfall has issued a tender seeking a company to carry out wind turbine blade repair for its wind energy projects across Europe.

The awarded company will be responsible for work on both offshore and onshore wind projects in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

According to Vattenfall, the blade repair activities are expected to commence on 1 January 2020 and to take place for a period of two years.

The contract is subject to renewal, with the option to be prolonged up to two times, each for a period of one year.

The deadline for submitting applications is 11 April 2019 at 16:00 local time.
