Gothia Tanker Alliance’s fifth LNG-fueled vessel, the Fure Ven, has been delivered by the Chinese Avic Dingheng shipyard.
It is a part of the six-vessel series ordered by the Gothia Tanker Alliance members Furetank, Älvtank and Erik Thun.
Out of the six vessels on order Furetank has three, Älvtank two and Thun Tankers one.
Fure Ven delivery was confirmed by its owner Furetank through a brief social media statement.
All the 16,000 DWT tankers are equipped with dual-fuel engines for LNG operation, featuring ice class 1A.
The basic design and detail design to the shipyard was delivered by the marine engineering company FKAB.
