Qatari LNG cargoes heading for Belgium

The Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal in Belgium is scheduled to receive three cargoes of the chilled fuel from Qatar.

The Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal in Belgium is scheduled to receive three cargoes of the chilled fuel from Qatar.

The first of the three cargoes is being transported onboard the Q-Flex liquefied natural gas carrier Fraiha, capable of carrying 210,152 cubic meters of the chilled fuel. The vessel is scheduled to dock at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal on March 22.

The second cargo is scheduled to dock at the terminal two days after the first cargo, on March 22. It is being delivered onboard the 210,100-cbm Q-Flex Al Khattiya.

The last cargo in the batch heading towards Zeebrugge LNG terminal is being transported onboard the 177,000-cbm Shinshu Maru jointly owned by JERA and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line). The vessel is scheduled to dock at the terminal on March 30.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
