Edinburgh-based Renewable Risk Advisers (RRA) has been awarded insurance review and brokerage work package by Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF).
RRA will provide strategic advice directly related to insurance risk and solutions available to ensure coverage of the Marine Energy Test Area (META) and its activities.
Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF), through its ‘Marine Energy Wales’ programme, is developing a Marine Energy Test Area (META) project in and around the Milford Haven Waterway.
The META project consists of eight test sites where marine energy testing activities will be permitted. Five are in META Phase 1 and Three are in META Phase 2.
The proposed sites are for testing only and will not be connected to the National Grid, and devices will be in the water for between 1 – 12 months maximum.
