Offshore survey specialist G-tec has been awarded contracts for geotechnical investigation services for Ørsted’s Gode Wind 03 and 04 and German Cluster offshore wind farm projects.
Under the contracts, G-Tec will carry out geotechnical investigations and laboratory analysis of samples taken from the seabed in various depths within the Ørsted offshore wind farms located in the German Bight Waters in 2019.
The scope of investigations comprises a detailed geotechnical site investigation on all turbine locations including in-situ tests and sampling, and subsequent onshore laboratory testing. The deal also includes an option for in-situ stiffness measurements.
This data will be used in the development and detailed design of offshore wind farms.
