Bombora Wave Power Europe said it requires a marine operator partner to enter into a framework agreement to undertake the marine operations required throughout the life cycle of the mWave project.

The demo Wave Energy Converter project is to be installed off the coast of Pembrokeshire, South Wales.

The contractor should be able to provide any marine services required by Bombora over an anticipated 12-month period, the company said.

The services will include supply of vessels for a number of operations including cable installation, towage, device installation, maintenance intervention, recovery and surveys.

Additional services include providing a construction manager and procuring or supplying equipment as required.

Deadline for submission of tenders is May 02, 2019.

To remind, Apollo was recently contracted by Bombora to design the main structure of the 1.5MW mWave wave energy demonstration device.
