Manson Construction, a Seattle based provider of heavy marine construction and dredging services, has been awarded a four year contract to dredge the Oceanside Harbor entrance.

Manson’s crews are currently completing a dredge contract in Ventura County and will proceed directly to Oceanside upon completion, the City of Oceanside Harbor said in its latest release.

At this time, the anticipated mobilization of equipment and vessels is expected to begin approximately April 22, 2019, with a completion date before Memorial Day weekend, depending upon weather or other factors.

During the latest survey of the harbor entrance in February 2019, Manson determined there is 300,000 cubic yards of clean material to be placed on Oceanside beaches.
