Bombora Wave Power Europe has launched another tender call as it seeks a contractor for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the winches and hydraulic system for the Module Intervention Tool (MIT).

The MIT is a floating platform that facilitates the subsea installation and recovery of key modules from the mWave Demonstrator, a wave energy converter.

All hardware should be delivered to Pembroke Dock where the contractor should install and commission the system.

This scope includes: 4x 10 tonne mooring winches; 2x 30 tonne lifting winches; Diesel-powered HPU; All hydraulic pipework required; Valve block to operate winches.

Deadline for submission of tenders is April 26, 2019, with estimated contract award date on May 31, same year.

The demonstration project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund administered by the Welsh European Funding Office on behalf of Welsh Ministers.
