European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) is looking for a Project Manager to manage the ReFLEX project and contribute to other key projects within EMEC.
EMEC is leading the £28-million ReFLEX project which will design, build and deliver a virtual energy system in Orkney using localised power balancing mechanisms alongside digital control across the electricity, transport and heat networks.
The project aims to create a ‘smart energy island’, demonstrating the energy system of the future, which will reduce and eventually eliminate the need for fossil fuels.
Based in Orkney this full-time post is for an initial term to March 31, 2022.
