Danish wave energy developer Exowave will be presenting its technology at Cleantech Innovate in London on the 30th of April.

ExoWave has developed and patented a solution for harvesting ocean wave energy and converting it into fresh water and/or renewable electric energy.

The company has carried out in previous years tank tests and offshore tests in the intended operational environment and is now planning for additional advanced offshore tests.

CTO, Lars Wigant , said: “ We’re very glad to be able to present our technology to Cleantech Innovate and meet with high caliber potential investors and partners. We have developed our solution to tackle some of the world most pressing issues nowadays, providing fresh water and clean energy to everyone in the world.

“It is in fact estimated that nearly two thirds of the entire world will be water scarce by 2030. We’re close to commercial roll out and are confident we’ll play a key role in providing a scalable and cost effective solution .”
