Liquefied natural gas exports from the U.S. remained flat over the last week, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
EIA stated in its weekly report that eight LNG vessels, five from Sabine Pass, one from Corpus Christi, and two from Cove Point departed from the United States from April 25 to May 1.
The Administration added that one vessel was loading at the Sabine Pass terminal on Wednesday.
The eight vessels held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 27.6 bcf.
EIA also said that the Elba Island LNG facility in Georgia would produce its first batch of LNG for testing this week.
Trains 1-6 are in the commissioning phase and are expected to enter service in the second quarter of 2019.
