Bombora Wave Power Europe has contracted MJR Power & Automation for the design and delivery of a control system for its mWave Wave Energy Converter Demonstrator project.
The control system will include: SCADA for submerged equipment installed on the seabed; Structural Health Monitoring of all major components; Software to control and optimise system performance; Onshore operating station including HMI, server PC, data export capability.
Contract, with an undisclosed value, will be for design, testing, supply and installation of both software and hardware.
The demo Wave Energy Converter project is to be installed off the coast of Pembrokeshire, South Wales.
