NHV Group joins offshore helicopter body HeliOffshore

Belgium-based offshore helicopter operator NHV Group has joined HeliOffshore, a global organization safety-focused association for the offshore helicopter industry. NHV, based in Ostend, operates a fleet of more than 60 helicopters. The helicopter operator is active in the North Sea and West Africa

Belgium-based offshore helicopter operator NHV Group has joined HeliOffshore, a global organization safety-focused association for the offshore helicopter industry.

NHV, based in Ostend, operates a fleet of more than 60 helicopters. The helicopter operator is active in the North Sea and West Africa regions, providing support for the oil and gas industry, as well as for wind farms. It is also active in the search and rescue, emergency medical and maritime service sectors.

HeliOffshore CEO Gretchen Haskins said: “We are delighted that NHV has joined HeliOffshore as a member, signaling its strong commitment to taking action in support of our joint program to further enhance safety in offshore helicopter operations. There are now more than 120 organizations worldwide engaged in our unprecedented collaboration for safety, and we look forward to including the NHV team in our work stream activities.”

HeliOffshore has 122 members from around the globe. Its founding members are helicopter operators well-known in the offshore oil and gas industry such as Bristow, CHC, Babcock, and Era.
