The installation of Borssele Beta jacket has started on Wednesday, TenneT informed.
HSM Offshore is in charge of the installation of the 2900 tons heavy and 55 meters high jacket.
The jacket will support the Borssele Beta platform, which will link to the grid the Borssele 3&4 offshore wind farm off the Dutch coast.
Borssele Beta is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
The Borssele Alpha and Beta projects are the first large-scale grid connections to be constructed under the National Energy Agreement for offshore wind farms in the Netherlands.
