Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Subsea and DOF subsidiary Norskan offshore have been awarded a total of three contracts for operations offshore Brazil.

DOF Subsea said on Wednesday that the first contract was awarded by Sapura Energy in the northeast of Brazil for final client Centrais Elétricas de Sergipe (CELSE).
The contract is for the Skandi Seven construction support vessel (CSV), which will be used for a riser and umbilical installation on a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for natural gas supply to Celse’s power plant.
According to the company, the project is set for 20 days firm and four five-day options and will begin during the last week of May.
The second deal, for the Skandi Niterói pipelay support vessel (PLSV), was awarded by TechnipFMC for work on Equinor’s Peregrino Phase II SURF project .
DOF stated that the vessel would start operations on the project in the next few months. It is worth noting that the Skandi Niterói was built in Brazil and is owned by a 50-50 joint venture between DOF and TechnipFMC.
Also, Norskan Offshore was awarded a contract from Total in Brazil for the Skandi Rio AHTS. The contract for anchor handling and supply work will begin shortly and has a maturity of 13-months firm and two six-month options.
