EMEC, one of the leading test facilities for wave and tidal energy converters, is looking to recruit contracts manager to be based in Orkney.

The candidate needs to have a degree in law, business or other relevant subject, the company said.

The contracts manager will support the company by ensuring that appropriate legal agreements are implemented to facilitate the execution of contractual obligations and to manage effective contractual processes.

The successful candidate needs to have at least 5 years experience of working in a commercial contracts or contract management position with knowledge of contract negotiation and legal review.

The position also includes work with contract initiators and project managers, to ensure that any drafting or variations to contracts are managed and that interrelationships between contracts are managed.

The deadline for applications is June 10, 2019.
