Athens-based dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Singapore’s Koch Shipping for one of its Capesize bulkers.
Under the deal, the company’s 177,243 dwt Baltimore started working for Koch Shipping on May 19 at a gross charter rate of USD 15,000 per day.
The 2005-built vessel has a contract for a period of nineteen to twenty-two months.
Diana Shipping expects to generate around USD 8.33 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
Prior to this charter, Baltimore was earning USD 18,050 per day during the period from June 2018 until May 2019 under an employment contract with the Singapore-based company.
